Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student working on or just interested in electrochemistry areas or solid state science and technology, we highly encourage you to be part of the ECS@TAMU. Join ECS
ECS, the international organization, and TAMU ECS, our student chapter, have separate memberships. However, students in our chapter are eligible for free student membership through the Student Chapter Membership program. To be an official member of TAMU ECS, we ask that you become an ECS member and maintain an active student membership.

ECS Student Membership includes:
- Access to ECS journals, such as the Journal of The Electrochemical Society
- Save on ECS conference registration and ECS journal publications
- Apply for research scholarships, such as the ECS Summer Fellowship​
- Networking opportunities with other ECS members
- Go to the ECS Student Center to learn more!

If you receive membership through this Student Chapter program, you must renew the membership each year. New members wanting to begin their membership and current members wanting to renew their membership can follow the same steps listed in this PDF.
