ECS Trivia

May 29, 2025

ECS members competed against each other to answer twenty six questions correctly and quickly. Questions ranged from electrochemistry history as well as specific subjects. Member Jenna Vito was the winner!

Joy Jam with WISE

TAMU ECS collaborated with WISE, ChEGSA, GSAC, SPE, and SPS to host an event students could either study or relax. This was before finals week, so students could choose which activity they wanted to feel best prepared for their exams.

UT ECS Visit to Texas A&M

April 5, 2025

Students from all across the state came to participate in the Texas Science & Engineering Fair (TXSEF) in front of the Zachary Engineering Education Complex. ECS members showed visitors how Lite Brite® toys work as well as circuits in series and in parallel.

Presentation Night

February 24, 2025

ECS members made short presentations about electrochemistry and lab work. Some were informative, and some were just humorous. A fun night was had all around.

TAMU ECS Visit to UT Austin

 TAMU chapter goes out to visit the UT Austin Chapter. We socialized, discussed science, and toured the campus and Austin.

2024 Chemistry Open House

October 19, 2024

ECS holds a booth at the Chemistry Open House event focused on the Picture Perfect Chemistry. ECS explained how "Pictures with Light" are made on Lite Brites® through a demonstration of the circuitry.

The TAMU chapter heads out to Waco, TX, for some fun adventures around to the Dr. Pepper museum, a local park, and a fun restaurant.
